About the Course
(This training course can be adapted to any IACS class or made to cover multiple classes. This training can be adopted to other liquified fuels e.g. Hydrogen, Methanol etc.)
Objectives
This training course aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in utilizing LNG as ship fuel.
Prerequisites
Participants are required to possess basic maritime knowledge.
Target Audience
This training course is designed for technical personnel working within shipping companies, shipyards, and design firms, including engineers, technical directors, fleet managers, superintendents, and similar roles.
The maritime industry faces increasing pressure from stringent environmental regulations at local, national, and international levels. In response, alternative fuel solutions are sought to meet emission requirements. One promising approach is the adoption of natural gas for propulsion and onboard power generation.
